Two Videos, Two Lessons.

“The more a thing tends to be permanent, the more it tends to be lifeless.” – Alan Watts.

With just one second left in the game between bitter rivals Auburn and Alabama, one of the most unbelievable plays in sports you will ever see unfolded (You gotta love those Auburn announcers too):

You can accomplish a lot even with just one second.  Nothing is over until it’s over.

Maybe it’s the narration of Sir David Attenborough and maybe it’s because  life is on the line, but this next one is even more captivating:

After telling me about this video, my friend pointed out that when we are stagnant and unproductive, nobody is going to pay us much mind. There are no challenges but also no gains, there is almost no life.

But if we live deliberately and set out to do things of value and purpose, that’s when we notice all sorts of barriers getting in the way.  That is a good indication that we are finally living for something.  Isn’t that what we all want? Don’t give up, just push on through.

There is no time like now to do something amazing.
